EUROPEAN GRAFFITI

What started on the subways of New York City, the art of graffiti has spread across the world. On a recent trip to Europe, graffiti was absolutely everywhere. It was more widespread than it is in any part of it's original birthplace, and most US cities I have been to. Everywhere from the public metros, to ancient Roman walls, the graffiti was pervasive and never seemed to be buffed. These are some photos taken in Barcelona, Athens, Rome, Florence, and Marseille.
